We visted Het Zuyderblad, the first tea plantation in The Netherlands.
Our visit started with a ‘tea-tail’ (cocktail based on tea). We then we went on a guided tour through the teagarden.
We will learnt about the teaplant, the differences between green, black and white tea, how to make the best brew and more.
After the tour we had a tea tasting. Each tea was matched with snacks.
As with wine, different teas make great combinations with certain foods.
Children were welcome at this visit.
