Some of our activities are held regularly each month, while others are organized based on shared interests, passions, and availability. Check out a few of our exciting activities below!
Coffee Morning
Coffee Morning
Join us for Coffee Morning at the IWC on the first Thursday of every month! This informal gathering requires no RSVP and is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and make new friends. We meet at a central location to enjoy coffee and conversation. Occasionally, we have special events like cake sales, book giveaways, and presentations. If you’re new to the club, this is a fantastic way to meet many of us at once. Children are welcome too!

Cooking Club
Our monthly rotation includes self-organized hands-on workshops, demonstrations, potlucks, dining out, and discussions about food, nutrition, and the passion for cooking. A core group of members regularly participates in this activity group. Workshops are held in private homes with limited spaces available. If there are extra spots, the activity is opened up for more members to join. The cost of the workshop ingredients is shared among participants.

Embrace the Bourgondisch lifestyle with us as we indulge in delightful dining experiences each month. We alternate between lunch and dinner at some of Breda’s finest restaurants, ensuring a perfect blend of great food, drink, and company. This activity is ideal for those with busy schedules, offering a chance to unwind and socialize in the evenings or during lunch breaks. Seating is limited based on the restaurant’s availability, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot.

For the art lovers and critics among us, we have a group dedicated to visiting museums and exhibitions across the Netherlands. The museum group meets on a regular basis, though the dates vary depending on current exhibitions. If museums are your passion, you’ll find a wide range of exhibitions available throughout the year. Regular attendees might find a museum card beneficial.
MahJong
MahJong
Every other Tuesday, both during the day and in the evening, the MahJong group gathers to play in groups of 3 or 4. Coffee and tea are served, and members bring a potluck dish to share for lunch. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you’re welcome to attend as a spectator to learn. This is a popular and very social IWC activity, and we warmly welcome enthusiastic new participants. The more, the merrier!

The IWC organizes events where members and their plus-ones are welcome. Past activities have included bowling, quiz nights, and brewery tours. We are always happy to receive new ideas for plus-one events!
