Yesterday we visited the Waternoodmuseum in Zeeland with five members. It was impressive to see and hear all the personal stories of the survivors of the the big flood. On the day of our visit the weather was cold, wet and windy, but didn’t come close to what the people experienced on February 1, 1953. This museum is really worth the drive to Zeeland.

It is a great museum and brings the terrible experience of the flood very well alive. I was impressed. It must be been horrific! Sad I couldn’t come this time as you need hours to see all in details. Once is not enough.
