To honor International Women’s Day, we hosted a special High Tea event on March 8th, featuring an inspiring guest speaker, Stella Airoldi.
Stella, a dedicated advocate for social change, has a background in International Law and Human Rights and is the founder of 22STARS, an organisation that helps rescue children from child labor and early marriage. Stella brought a personal touch to her talk, sharing powerful stories about making a difference and using privilege for positive impact.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of engaging discussions and delicious treats. xThe event provided not only inspiration but also a wonderful opportunity to chat and celebrate the spirit of empowered women supporting women.
A couple of days later, on March 11, 2025, Breda came together in a bigger and more impactful way to celebrate International Women’s Day. With local organizations joining forces, this event was a testament to the power of collaboration in creating a more inclusive city.
Breda Internationals, Gemeente Breda, and Aithra – ondernemende vrouwen took the lead, welcoming new partners such as VVAO, Els Borst Netwerk, International Women’s Club Breda, and Soroptimisten Club Breda. Together, the group reinforced their support of gender equity and the advancement of women.
The global theme, #AccelerateAction, set the stage for thought-provoking discussions on how we can drive real change. A key highlight of the event was an inspiring talk by Esther Goos from Scooperz, who shared valuable insights on how social media and influencer marketing can be powerful tools for building a standout personal brand and amplifying women’s voices.
We were also incredibly proud to have our club president, Fina, as one of the speakers, representing our community and sharing our mission of building bridges among women of all backgrounds. Her words resonated deeply, reinforcing the importance of taking action and supporting one another.
The event wasn’t just about discussions—it was also about connecting, celebrating, and inspiring one another. Attendees had the chance to engage with a diverse group of women, exchange ideas, and explore new ways to create meaningful impact.
