A spontaneous summer activity turned into a very enjoyable afternoon when one of our members, Carla Schoenmakers, invited us to a private viewing of her exhibition on Friday, 17 July, at the Princenhaags Museum.
We thoroughly enjoyed Carla’s exhibition and also admired the beautiful paintings by local artist Hennie van de Lande. Afterwards, Rini took us on a fascinating guided walk through Princenhage, sharing many interesting stories about the history of the village and its distinctive houses.
To round off a wonderful afternoon, we gathered on the terrace of Restaurant V at the Haagse Markt, where we enjoyed drinks and a delicious meal together. It was a perfect combination of art, history, good company, and fine weather—a memorable summer outing for everyone who joined.
